New Hero Arts Arrived!

Have you been waiting for the new Hero Arts releases? Your wait is over cause they're here! Look at all the new goodies that arrived! Perfect timing to get an early start on all those holiday projects!!
First up are these cute Snow Dolls (its the Japanese Dolls dressed in their winter attire!) and cute new angels sets. Also shown are more sentiments... Hooray!
Here we have clear stamps that are sold in sets of 4. Each stamp comes with crystals accents. I just love the Halloween set!
Pictured here are some of the other stamps that came in, including their new clings line. These new clings are the best of both worlds... they mount on an acrylic block so you know exactly where to position your stamp (similar to clear stamps), with the same great results you get from deep cut rubber!
Finally, we wanted to feature some of the new Christmas papers we got in.
We also received some re-orders of the more popular Hero Arts sets including cupcakes, Happy Birthday set and Sending Happy Thoughts. Come and visit us soon for best selection.

Going Green

Hi Everyone,
Hope you are having a good week so far! Today we have this gift bag made out of a plain old paper bag and a matching card. Donna decided to give some gifts to her friends and needed something to wrap them in, so she used these paper bags as her base.

For the card, Donna used the new Megan stamp by The Greeting Farm. Don't you just love her curly hair?

She also used the Fly Away stamp set to make her bag. The piggy is hiding behind the cloud. Speaking of the cloud.. Donna made the cloud by using the top half of the cupcake die! What a great idea, I'll have to remember that next time I make clouds.

Here the piggy is popping out from behind the clouds to say hi!

Have a great week!

Chinese Kids Thank You Card Gift Set

Ever consider giving your cards to someone as the actual gift? Many times we focus on making a card to accompany a gift, but why not make cards to give as the gift? People reallly appreciate handmade cards, so a box of cards would be a delight to anyone.

Here, Jenny used two sets of Hero Arts stamps featuring these cute Chinese kids! This is a great way to utilize ALL of the stamps in your sets! Because they are in a "set" they often coordinate well together and takes the guess work out of putting together a set of cards.

This set in particular are all thank you notes, but you could make them any type of card you want. The other great thing about making a set of cards is that you can keep the designs simple. The receiver will be "wow'd" anyway since they are getting so many cards!

Jenny used several of the Hero Arts clear sentiment stamp sets for all the "Thank Yous" found throughout the cards. These sets are great for adding the right sentiment to your cards. Plus they are clear, so you can position them precisely where you want it to go!

Can't forget the boy!

Finally, Jenny packaged all the cards in a box. She added the band so that the cover would not come off and to give it a decorative accent. You can't tell from the photo, but she also stamped on the box lid using the Versamark ink pad to create a watermark. Stop by the store to see this sample up close.

Supplies used:
Chinese kid stamp sets- Hero Arts
Thank You sentiments- Hero Arts
Markers- Copics
Stickles
Crystals- Hero Arts
Flower, oval, and scallop oval dies- Spellbinders
Washi paper- Hanko
Cardstock- Bazzil
Ribbon
