Granny Card

Tracy said her husband calls this the "Grandma Card"- in case you are wondering why the title of this post is Granny Card. I just love the fact that she stamped the flowers in black and then colored them using a sponge and memory ink. Tracy cut the stamped image in half and used the pieces for each side of the gatefold card.

Supplies used:
Flower stamp and Get Well Soon sentiment- Hero Arts
Inside sentiment- Stampendous
DP- Doodlebug Designs
Crystals- Hero Arts
Cardstock- Bazzil
Memory ink pads

Have a great week! Don't forget to enter our latest contest (see post below).

Another Donna Creation

Is everyone having a nice weekend so far? Here's a card Donna left us with before she went on her trip... It's another Hero Arts card using the clear stamps sets shown here. She achieved the colored background look by using the stamp that looks like a big black block. Her soft and subtle color combinations create a great layered effect. Other supplies used include Bazzil Cardstock, Hero Arts Crystals, and Cuttlebug Embossing Folder.

Stay tuned for a cool contest announcement!

Aloha Friday!

What better way to spend an Aloha Friday than to create a card??? For most of you, today is a holiday... but not for Island Scrapbooking! So if you have no holiday plans, stop by the store and get inspired by some of our samples. The store will be closed tomorrow for the July 4th holiday, so today will be your last chance this weekend to get any needed supplies to keep you busy for the rest of the weekend.
