Folded Paper Frame Farm

"Mooooooo! Are the cows working today?" That's what my daughter always says as we pass a pasture of cows. This card reminds me of driving past those cow pastures. Since the store brought in all those country themed paper recently, Debi put them together to make this cute Folded Paper Frame card. Since the paper was so cute, she just used the October Afternoon paper as the focal point of the card. The birds you see on the side is a Martha Stewart punch.

Don't they almost look like they got caught discussing something? Makes me crack up!

Also wanted to remind everyone about our next Craft Night, which will be held tomorrow night (5/7/10) from 5:00pm-6:30pm. Topic will be how to mount unmounted stamps and how to unmount your wood stamps! We will also be sharing some storage tips and hope you will bring some suggestions on what works for you. We will also be hosting a card drawing that night, so bring in your handmade card to enter. Participation is voluntary but the more the merrier!

Origami Card & Box Class

Sorry folks! I only finished my sample origami box for the origami card and box class recently. I wanted to make it match the card, so I used the same DP and color scheme. The class is filling up quickly, so contact the store soon if you want to hold your spot.

It's A Bird... It's A Plane... It's Super Ian!

Happy Boy's Day! Did you already hang your carp from your rooftop?'

Since it's boy's day, thought I'd post a boy themed card... What a great pairing to use Super Ian from the Amazing Duo Greeting Farm set along with the Hero Arts buildings stamp! Makes Super Ian look like he's far away from those houses- just like he's flying!

Haven't used my Your Next Stamp sets in awhile, so I decided to create an origami card using these two mermaid sets. Your Next Stamp sets don't come mounted on clings, so you will need to mount them in order to use them... Not sure how to do this? If you are interested in learning how to mount unmounted rubber onto clings, stop by our next Craft Night this Friday, May 7th from 5:00pm-6:30pm to learn how!
