There's more samples to see at the store, so stop on by to see the rest!
Wow! Returned from vacation and the store looks really different! So many new products I couldn't stop walking around trying to figure out what was new! Took a few photos to show you a couple of the goodies I found... Like Copics!

Have you seen these cute SWALK stamps yet? There are so many cute images to choose from it was hard to decide which one to use, but I decided on this cute girl with the watering can since I was making a watering can. Found the template on Splitcoast Stampers and printed it on patterned paper. You could fit small treats into the watering can to make a cute favor. Have fun!
Have you ever tried stamp layering? Its a fun way to utilize a lot of different stamps on one card and eliminate patterned paper altogether. This particular card was made using water color paper, which is great to use when watering down your distress inks. By diluting the distress inks, you really get a softer look to your card.
After making the watercolor background, I stamped the Thanks background cling with distress ink. Then I added the weeds in more distress ink and then the dragonflies. To make the words stand out, used regular versafine ink and added some blue crystal accents. Before adhering the paper to the card, I decided to tear the bottom and add more distress ink to cover up the white core. Accented the bottom with a ribbon and then taped it to the card. Gee, after I wrote it out, sounds like a lot of steps, but it really wasn't that difficult. The hardest part was figuring out what stamps to use. Have fun!
Another cute card by Jenny R. using our new Cheeky Beach stamp by The Greeting Farm! Isn't she a cutie? Cheeky Beach and a bunch of new stamps are now available at the store, so stop by soon if you've been waiting for these! Oh yah, in case you were wondering, the Aloha sentiment is one of our exclusive laser cuts! We also have it available in Arigato and Mahalo... makes making cards so easy! Thanks Jenny!
As promised, Lawn Fawn is here! We got some re-orders of popular sets like Critters in the Burbs and My Silly Valentine. We also brought in some brand new ones too like Lunar Lights, Cozy Christmas, Heebie Jeebies, Bannerific, Bake me a Cake, and more!
Also in (but no photo), are the new CC's Design stamps including Swiss Pixie Bouquet Birgitta, Spring Kiki La Rue, Tags it rubber stamp and die set, AmyR get well sentiments, Swiss Pixie bouquet basket, key and lock dies, and much more!
Finally was able to make the sample for the Pleated Center Pop-Up Card Class scheduled for 4/1 and 4/2. See March 2011 Newsletter post for more information on this class.
Here's the card when its open... As you can see, the card will lay flat and the images stand up in the center.
And here's another view with the inside cover propped up so you can see the patterned paper. By request, I've decided to try scheduling classes on Furlough Fridays (for me its 1st and 3rd Friday of each month). If there's enough people, I'll try to offer these classes until we are done with furloughs.
