Asian Calendar

Since its close to Christmas, here's a great idea to make as a gift for someone (or for yourself!). Everyone needs calendars right? Well, Jenny made this Asian calendar using mostly washi paper, with a few stamps here and there. The simplicity of the details make this project very impressive.

A great new product that Island Scrapbooking has just brought in is Smooch. Its a fast drying metallic paint that looks very similar to a nail polish bottle. The brush is easy to control and gives good results. It even works on non-paper items as well, like plastic, etc. Here you can see it used to accent the crane's wings and top of their heads.

Supplies:
Washi paper- Hanko designs
Cardstock- Bazzil
Calendar- Printed from computer
Month dies- Quickutz
Crane and Kimono stamps- Hanko
Dragonfly stamps- Hero Arts
Crystals- Hero Arts
Sakura laser cuts- Island Scrapbooking
