New Miss Anya Love

It's springtime and love is in the air! Miss Anya Love that is! This stamp comes in a set of three Miss Anyas and are all so sweet! I just love that she's holding daisies- one of my favorite flowers! Had to go with the Daisy theme and make a huge daisy behind her using my scallop circle spellbinders. Just made cuts at each scallop so that it resembled a flower. I just love how the yellow looks with the white- so sweet!

Pamper Yourself

Aaaaaahhh... Can't you just hear adorable Anya saying that as she soaks in her cute bathtub? Greeting Farm has come up with another fun set for gift giving and will pair nicely with any type of beauty product we girls just love to give and receive! Donna purchased little handmade soaps from a small Hilo company called Sugarberry Soaps, owned by two sisters who are students at UH Hilo. These stamps and soaps were the perfect combination!

This Me Time Anya set is not only pretty, but it comes with great verbage too. Sentiments like "Paper Yourself", "Me Time" and "Sweet Treat" can be used for other cardmaking or crafting projects. This set sold out so quickly last time it was in, so if you want it, you should come in soon to ensure you get your set.

See how the stamps match the soaps?

Supplies:

  • Me Time Anya- TGF
  • DP- Bella Press
  • Cardstock- Bazzil
  • Markers- Copics
  • Punches- EK Success

Got Milk?

This little cutie is from the Greeting Farm Respect stamp set, which includes a boy scout image too. When I think of Girl Scouts, I automatically think of Girl Scout cookies! Which one is your favorite? I have to go with the Thin Mint. They are still my favorite after all these years.
As a tribute to the Girl Scout Cookie, I made this card. The cookies were all made using circle and scallop circle punches. The chocolate chips were made using a heart punch. I punched the hearts out and then cut them to look like chips. When do they start selling those yummy cookies again?

OK everyone, break out those leg warmers that have been sitting in your closets and crimp that hair! The Greeting Farm came out with another limited edition Anya... its 80's Anya! That's like totally awesome! Now that's an Anya I can relate to! Look that that big hair, bow and leg warmers? Hmmmmmm, now who does she remind you of? Could it be? The Greeting Farm must have been looking at a photo of our very own Tracy! Hee hee.

Cards From Our Customers

Just wanted to share a couple of cards from our creative customers! The first card up was made by Don. He used one of the new Spellbinders Pendant dies as the focal point of his card. The background was embossed using the snow dots cuttlebug folder on vellum.

He even added heart crystals to the tips of the pendant.
Next up we have a Halloween card by Mardi. She dressed up Hope (or is it Grace?) from the Hope and Grace Greeting Farm set to look like a witch for Halloween. Mardi combines all different types of crafts into one neat project. In addition to using paper, rubber stamps and dies, she also embroiders!
Here's a close up of the witch..
The inside of the card is just as cool as the outside!

Thank you Mardi and Don for sharing your neat creations with us!

Going Green

Hi Everyone,
Hope you are having a good week so far! Today we have this gift bag made out of a plain old paper bag and a matching card. Donna decided to give some gifts to her friends and needed something to wrap them in, so she used these paper bags as her base.

For the card, Donna used the new Megan stamp by The Greeting Farm. Don't you just love her curly hair?

She also used the Fly Away stamp set to make her bag. The piggy is hiding behind the cloud. Speaking of the cloud.. Donna made the cloud by using the top half of the cupcake die! What a great idea, I'll have to remember that next time I make clouds.

Here the piggy is popping out from behind the clouds to say hi!

Have a great week!

Using her favorite two-sided paper by Fancy Pants, she created a patchwork design by cutting out an oval using her Spellbinders oval nestabilities and cutting the entire DP in half so that she could switch them around to get the patchwork effect. Don't y9u just love her plaid coloring?

Born To Be A Star...

Just like any Superstar... this Anya stamp is ready to walk the red carpet... or maybe a pink one instead. :)
The pink tiger background paper is by K&Co. and just totally matches the superstar vibe. Just had to add the crystals using the In Stitches templates by Bazzil. They come in a pack with 4 different templates in a coordinated theme. The star template happens to belong to the baby bundle templates set, which just shows how versatile the templates are. All I did use the template as a guide to mark the points of the star, then added crystals on each mark. To make sure everyone saw the star, I added in extra crystals in between each set of dots.

Supplies used:
Superstar Anya- TGF
Friends sentiment- TGF
Star Template- In Stitches by Bazzil
Markers- Copics
DP- K & Co.
Crystals- Hero Arts
Just a reminder that this week's coupon is buy one get one free on these cool templates. See coupon in the newsletter for more details.

Up, Up, and Away!

Happy Anyaversary Blog Hop!

Hi Everyone!
Aloha and welcome to the Island Scrapbooking Design Team's Blog! We have been very busy putting together some special birthday wishes for The Greetings Farm Blog Hop to celebrate their Birthday today! The Greeting Farm stamps have become a staple in our store and we wanted to share some of our projects with you! Are you ready?
First up is Tracy's Pop Up Birthday Card for Anya... Here's what it looks like when its closed up.

Tracy used a lot of Island Scrapbooking's custom laser cuts like the "Aloha" sentiment, hibiscus, fern, crabs, sting ray, turtles and coconut trees. We just love how TGF created all these cute Hawaiian themed Anyas and Ians (and clothes too) that coordinate with our designs and represent our island home!
First we have H&G's Sing singing a special birthday song for TGF. Can you see the "lei" hanging from each page?

Next we have Hula Anya dancing a special hula for Anya's birthday!

Next, Surfer Ian had to splash on by to send his birthday greetings...

And finally, dress up Anya and Ian in their best beachwear wish everyone at TGF a Happy Anyaversary!

Next up we have Donna's card featuring Miss Anya. She is all ready for the summer sun!

She'd better watch out or she'll get a sunburn!

Debi took her creativity to a whole new level! She decorated a tree using all Greetings Farm stamps! If you look closely, they are all ready to celebrate with their party hats on, cupcakes to eat, or presents to share... She even included presents under the tree!

Here's a closer shot of the tree... See the Happy Birthday wishes?

Here's a close up of H&G's Peace... She has a groovy party hat for the occasion!

Your's Truly used the Rock the Farm set and Farm Animals to represent TGF in my special "Greeting" (get it Greeting Farm??? Stale joke, sorry!)

The "Small World" theme utilized Anyas and Ians from around the world! Looking forward to seeing what other cultures they will include in their collection next! Hawaii is such a melting pot, that the Small World theme just goes hand in hand with our culture!

Finally as a bonus, we have our future DT member-in-training (aka my daughter)... She wanted to participate in the blog hop too, so she decorated her favorite bunny's new house with all her favorite Anya and Ian stamps!

Thank you for stopping by to see all of our projects! Can you tell we love The Greeting Farm stamps! Hope you stop by again soon!
