My Fairy Princess Folder Book

Tracy is pretty genius when it comes to making mini scrapbooks. She took that Quickutz folder die and made this awesome little mini scrapbook using the new Greeting Farm clear fairy stamp set. The set comes with the three original fairies that were discontinued and are now offered as a clear stamp set and are smaller than the originals. Perfect for fairies don't you think? The set also comes with the sentiment shown here and mushrooms.

Here's a close up of Tink...
And here's the inside of one of the pages... she even distressed the folder paper inside!!

Wanted to show you one of the pages where both sides have pockets.

Awesome project Tracy... hmmm, maybe she'll teach a class in the future.

Cowabunga Dude!

Island Scrapbooking has been invaded by surfers! Hurry, Surfer Anya is going quickly! I think there's just enough time to post this project before she sells out. She is the newest Anya in the Greeting Farm collection and boy is she a cutie! Found my old set of ocean sentiments by CC's and used the "Seas the day" sentiment on the cover. Don't know if you can tell from the photo, but I used some diamond glaze on the surfboard to give it a shiny look.

Here's what the card looks like when its opened- Ta Daaa! Yup, made another pleated center pop up card. Meant to finish this up before my classes last week, but glad I waited since I could incorporate Surfer Anya on the front.

I've gotten a few questions already on how I made the wave- well it was just cut free hand (sorry no template used), then I used my alcohol inks and blender tool (with felt instead of foam) and blotted it onto the acetate to turn it blue. Then I went over it again with a pearly white and silver inks for the "foam". I'm pretty sure you could use copic ink since its alcohol based to get the same effect.

After I mounted Ian, he looked kinda lonely, so I used the Lawn Fawn Critters in the Sea set and inked up the turtle and hermit crab so he wouldn't be so lonely. That is such a cute set and a great way to add some accents for beach themed cards and scrapbook pages.

In addition to Surfer Anya, we also received Daisy and Twirl Anya. Surfer Anya is going fast, so you'll have to hurry if you want to get your hands on her!

If Friends Were Flowers I'd Pick You

Time for a Greeting Farm sample! I really wanted to use my new Sweet Anya stamp and thought she matched perfectly with this new designer paper by Bo Bunny. The sentiment is from the new Lawn Fawn set called Hello Friend. This set contains 7 sentiments that are a pretty good size and could easily be used as your focal point. They are also great for the inside of your card too. Here's a close up of Sweet Anya.

August Craft Night Card Drawing And Another Chance To Win!

Last week's Craft Night also hosted a Card Drawing. This is the card I entered- wanted to make it a summer theme, so I ended up using Sunshine Anya. Made that double pocket card again- which was pretty easy to make now that I've got the hang of it! Guess you can't tell but I also stamped the back card with a the Sand Sun and Lots of Fun sentiment that comes with the set.

Speaking of this Sunshine set... did you go and enter to win it yet??? If not, click here for details on how you can enter...

Then stop in the store and tell us what "Daba" means and you will be entered for another chance to win!

Flutter Tent Card

Hi Everyone!

Hope you had a great weekend! Decided to get a little funky with this card by coloring Flutter Anya's hair green. Guess I was inspired by Noe, who always colors Anya's hair in punk rock colors. I chose Flutter because she has wings and would work nicely dangling from this tent card.

Here's a close up of Flutter..

Oh yah- forgot to mention the flower accents- made the one that looks like a daisy using the cosmo punch by Martha Stewart. Just punched out several of them out of cardstock and attached them with a brad- then lifted them up to give them more dimension. I made the rose by punching a scallop circle and cutting a spiral out of it and then rolling it up to look like a rose.

Supplies:
  • Flutter Anya- TGF
  • DP- Doodlebug
  • Cardstock- Bazzil
  • Flourish Punches- EK success
  • Cosmo punch- MS Crafts
  • Scallop circle punch- Marvy
  • Stickles
  • Ribbon

Fleur Tent Card

I really wanted to try making this tent card. I made earlier attempt, but it didn't come out too well, so this is my second attempt. I love this new paper by K & Co. and thought it matched up well with the kraft cardstock. Then I totally copied 1Luvn Mama by using jump rings to dangle Fleur Anya from the top of the card. The card was embellished with the MS butterfly punch and Prima flowers.

Here's a close up of Fleur Anya..

Double Displayed Out

OK... If this doesn't make you sick of Double Display cards, nothing will! I know- I've been a bit Double Display card crazy lately, but this will probably be my last one in awhile... so enjoy!

I used my new favorite stamp... Fleur Anya! She's so darling, I colored her in almost every color I have. Here she is shown in green....

I am also finding that this Hero Arts set is very useful. At first it didn't appeal to me, but the more I use it the more I like it! Both sentiments are from the set.

So, I'm totally Double Displayed Out! :) Fleur Anya has been re-ordered and we are expecting a shipment soon.

Celebrate Birthday Boy!

Here's Oliver, who is part of the new Greeting Farm set called Buddies. Decided to try make a boy themed Double Display card this time using the new stamps. As you know, boy cards are not my strong point, so I struggled putting this one together. Since I didn't have any sentiments that fit into the circle size I wanted to use, I printed it up on my computer in matching colors. The "Party On" sentiment fit, so I stamped it using my Hero Arts clear stamp. Isn't Oliver's doggie so cute?

Oliver is back in stock along with the other new stamps from the Greeting Farm. If you've been waiting for these to arrive, come in for best selection.

Since it's boy's day, thought I'd post a boy themed card... What a great pairing to use Super Ian from the Amazing Duo Greeting Farm set along with the Hero Arts buildings stamp! Makes Super Ian look like he's far away from those houses- just like he's flying!

Happy Day!

Hi Everyone!!

It sure was a Happy Day for us that the Tsunami didn't hit on Saturday! What better way to celebrate than to use our new Happy Day stamps by The Greeting Farm! This set comes with this cute boy w/dinosaurs and a girl holding a strand of beads. These stamps are perfect for making kids cards!

You can't really tell from this photo, but I layered the boy's hair, sleeve and dinosaur with mini pop dots. It takes a little more time and effort to do this, but the results come out rather nice.

Stop by the store to see this sample. Here's a close up of the boy.. I think his name is Oliver.

Supplies:
Boy stamp- The Greeting Farm
Markers- Copics
Embossing Folder- Cuttlebug
Star die- Spellbinders
Cardstock- Bazzil
