Best Wishes
How cute is this? This little frog prince is just waiting for his party to start! Love the new Friendly Flags clear set by Hero Arts featured here. Debi just stamped them onto patterned paper and cut out each flag. Tied string on the ends to make them look like they are hanging like little flag banners. So cute!
Just a reminder that the store will be open tomorrow (Christmas Eve) from 10-2pm, so please plan accordingly if you need to get some last minute gifts for that paper crafter! And don't forget to turn in your Christmas card to be entered in our contest!

Let's Go For A Ride
Ready for a Joy Ride? That's the name of this new bicycle Hero Arts set used in this card made by Debi. Love the vintage simplicity of this card and how she stamped red onto kraft cardstock. Starting to like using kraft in place of white more often when making cards- especially vintage looking cards!
Only a few days left till Christmas... did you get all your shopping done yet? Well, if you haven't stopped by the store recently, you just might find some great deals on last minute Christmas gifts for all your crafty friends out there. If not, a gift certificate is always a perfect fit!

Deep Sea Love
The fishys are from an older set called "Oceans of Joy" and the sentiment is from a new set called "Live Life". That set has very neat, graphics added to cute sentiments that you'll just want to add to your collection!

Distressed Delicate Leaf Clusters
Don't we all just love Distress Inks? Well, Debi used three different Distress Ink colors for this card. She simply used the same stamp and layered the colors over each other for a neat effect. The Thank You sentiment is an Island Scrapbooking custom laser cut, which makes card making so simple and easy. You can pick up Thank You, or other sentiments at the store to help you with all those thank you cards you'll need to make after Christmas.

Friend Definition
As you can see, Debi was busy making more samples with the new Hero Arts stamp sets that just arrived. Here she used the friend definition stamp from the new clear set called "Dictionary Greeting". It comes in a set of 4 stamps with definitions for friend, happy, thank, and hello. Very versatile and unique. Oh, and if you are wondering about that crochet flower accent... it was made by Don Barnes. Thanks Don!
Just a reminder that Christmas Eve is the deadline to turn in your Christmas Cards to be entered into our Christmas Card Contest! Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

Last Christmas Card Class
We had our last Christmas Card Classs yesterday and I must thank the students that attended for signing up without even knowing what project we'd be making! To thank them all, I did a bonus project which is the A2 card box above. You can't see but the bottom of the box is turquoise blue like the belly band. They were really happy to learn how to make this easy box.
This next card was inspired by all you bloggers out there. I've seen different versions of this punch Christmas tree all over the internet, so I thought I'd teach my students how to make this easy peasy tree too. Since the tree was made using a heart punch, I thought it would look cute decorated with heart ornaments.
This last card was a CASE from the Hero Arts Holiday Catalog Supplement. I loved this card when I saw it and wanted to teach the class how to make it too. The more I use this tree stamp set the more I love it! It's so elegant looking, especially when its embossed in gold. The added benefit is no coloring, which is what my students always request. I also like how the background came out. It might be hard to see but the background is stamped with the Hero Arts musical notes background cling in Distress Antique Linen. I love how Antique Linen looks on cream colored cardstock!
We had fun yesterday and I appreciate everyone who came on a Friday for this last class. I'll probably hold more Christmas Card classes again next year since this year's classes were a big hit!
By the way, the store just got in a small Hero Arts order with some re-orders of some items that sold out earlier. And don't forget our Hero Arts preview party coming up in December. You can pre-pay for your catalog now!

Christmas Card Club Sneak Peek
Sorry I've been seriously slacking on making my samples for this Friday's Christmas Card Club class. I'm so thrilled that this class has generated so much excitement over simple cards! We had fun working on various Christmas projects since the summer and now its the last Christmas Card class for the year. Time sure flies huh?
So for the last class, we will be making regular simple Christmas Cards. Here's a sneak peek of a couple of the projects we will doing. The card featured above is a gingerbread man card. The gingerbread man is from the Hero Arts set that also comes with a snowman and tree. Added mini jingle bells for a more festive feel.
Below is a card that I initially made as a sample for the store, but was originally in gold. Changed it up to silver this time and used clear stones and white pearls as accents.
We'll be making a few more projects that I'll share after the class is done. If you are enrolled in this class, please also bring a scoreboard or trimmer w/score blade if you have one. Otherwise you can use mine. See you soon!

Peace
I've been eyeing this holly punch around the page set since it came in. I finally broke down and got it this past weekend and I'm happy I did. Its so festive and really puts me in the Christmas mood. Accented it with red crystals so it really looked like holly berries. Wanted to keep it simple, so I just punched out a dove using my other new MS punch. The Peace sentiment was embossed with white embossing powder and the background stamped with the Hero Arts swirls cling. Easy Peasy!
Supplies:
- Cardstock- Bazzil
- Crystals- Kaisercraft
- Dove and holly punch- MS Crafts
- Swirls background- Hero Arts

You're Special
Sorry we've been a bit MIA recently! We'll be back soon with the November newsletter, so please check back soon.
Wanted to share this neat card I saw while shopping one day in the store. I didn't realize Debi had dropped it off as a sample since it was near the Hero Arts stamps. Thought I'd share it with you today- she used the fluorescent green Zing Embossing Powder on the flourish and turned it into a Christmas tree by adding in some bling. Thought that was pretty creative. Thanks Debi!

Season's Greetings
Made this card using the Queen's Gold embossing powder (my favorite!) and the Hero Arts wreath stamp. Love the look of cream and gold together. Believe it or not, this card was put together in about 15 minutes! Accented the wreath using gold crystals and pearls and topped it off with a Season's Greetings sentiment also by Hero Arts. Good news is that the store has gold, silver and red mirrored cardstock back in stock!!! Woo hoo! No more hoarding required!

Debi's Make 'n Take
For all of you who missed Debi's make 'n take project for the Anniversary Sale, here it is! This project can be used as an ornament or tag, or both! She makes it look so easy yah? I stole this sample from her... Thanks Debi! I was exhausted after my make 'n take, so I was happy she said I could have her sample. :) I think I'm gonna hang it on my tree.

More For The Cardinal Fans...
In case you didn't know... Michele and Tracy love all things cardinal, so you'll likely see it in the store if there's a cardinal on it! Anyway, you can imagine how thrilled they were to find stamps and dies in cardinal designs! Made this card with them in mind...
Punched out the wreath using the Martha Stewart Crafts holly punch. There are two sizes, but this is the smaller size. Instead of using the little bitty dots for the berries, I decided to use my crystals by Kaisercrafts. Sooooo much easier than trying to adhere these teeny tiny dots onto my wreath! Plus they come in various sizes, which give a nice look to the wreath. Then all I did was add the cardinal in the middle of the wreath and a bow. The sentiment was a little trickier to do... cut a strip of 1/2" white cardstock and stamped the Happy Holidays sentiment on it. Then I folded the cardstock back on each end and then forward so that it looks like a banner. Then trimmed the ends for a finished look before adhering to the card.
Supplies:
- Cardinal stamp and die- Heartfelt Creations/Spellbinders
- Happy Holidays sentiment- CC's Designs
- Holly punch- MS Crafts
- Crystals- Kaisercrafts
- Ribbon

With Love From All Of Us
This card was made from one of the new Heartfelt Creations stamp sets /coordinating Spellbinders. Love the ease of cutting the stamped image so easily with the coordinating dies. Decided to go with a more rustic look for this card (out of my element, I know), and stamped it directly on kraft cardstock. Went over each pine needle with my Copic marker and added some gold stickles as an accent. Colored the pine cones too with Copics.
The sentiment actually comes in the same set as the cardinal stamp, which makes things easy. Don't know if you can tell, but I popped up each cardinal w/pop dots for dimension. Because the card is wide, I had a hard time taking a picture where you could see the cardinals, so I ended up taking a close up for you to see better. To get a better look, you'll have to come in to the store to see it for yourself.
Supplies:
- Cardinal stamp and matching dies: Heartfelt Creations/Spellbinders
- Stickles
- Sentiment- Heartfelt Creations
- Cardstock- Bazzil

Peace on Earth
Yes!! They are finally here! We've been very excited to bring in these new coordinating stamp and die sets by Heartfelt Creations/Spellbinders!! No more cutting around your image since the dies perfectly coordinate with your stamps. Someone was thinking!
Anyway, wanted to share with you a card I made using the ornament dies and coordinating stamps. All I did was emboss the stamped image onto red cardstock and then cut them out using the ornament dies. To be sure my die didn't shift around I used some removable tape. Easy peasy! Believe it or not the most difficult part about this card was adding on the gold cord.
Heartfelt Creations has come up with several coordinating stamp/die sets, so come and check out the store for all the new goodies! But hurry, sets are limited so, they'll probably sell out quick!
Be back with more samples soon...
Supplies:
- Ornament stamps and dies- Heartfelt Creations/Spellbinders
- Gold cord
- Cardstock- Bazzil
- Embossing folder- Tim Holtz
- Gold embossing powder.
