March 2010 Newsletter

Wow! We sure had some excitement with the Tsunami warning on Saturday. Thankfully, no damage was done and everyone was safe. The warning did cause us to cancel the classes that were scheduled for that day.

If you were scheduled in the Copic Blending Class, there will be three class available in March and early April that you could attend. If you are unable to attend any of those sessions, you may request a refund. Students scheduled for the day of the Tsunami will be given first preference in signing up for the March class.

If you were enrolled in the Peek A Boo Card class, Debi will be teaching a make up session this week- see class info below. If you are not able to make the make -up class, you may either select a kit or request a refund.

Thank you for your understanding while we re-schedule these classes.

March Craft Night
The next Craft Night will be held on Friday, March 5th from 5:00-6:30pm. Don will be doing a St. Patrick's Day make 'n take. There is no charge to attend this event.

We will again host a Card Drawing at Craft Night and hope you will participate! Participation is voluntary, but everyone who has participated seemed to be very happy with the exchange! Please bring your card with you to Craft Night instead of dropping it off early. We would hate to lose your card, so please bring it with you that night.

If you have any questions about Craft Night or the Card Drawing, please contact the store for more details.

Spring Cleaning Sale:

Spring is in the air! Time to start cleaning out those those craft rooms and getting rid of the items you don't need or want anymore. This year's sale will be held on Saturday, March 20th. If you would like to sell your craft items, please contact the store for more information on drop off dates and labeling your items. For those of you who don't intend on selling anything, you'll still want to come on sale day for some great bargains!

In addition to the great finds you will get at the sale, the store will also also be having some great in store specials that you won't want to miss! So mark your calendars for a great day of shopping!

You asked for it! We are so excited to finally offer a Copics Blending Class! We've all fallen in love with these pens and can't wait to show you their potential. You will learn 2 blending techniques in this class and will leave with two cards. Due to the personal attention needed, class size is limited to 4 students. Due to limited size, we will offer additional classes in the coming months. Images and paper used in class are subject to change.

Please note that students who sign up for this class must bring with them their own Copic markers. No class markers will be provided in this class and we do not recommend borrowing from other students.
