RECIPE SWAP:

OK, all you wonderful cooks out there, starting this month thru December, we will be doing a monthly recipe swap rather than a card swap.  In December, we'll be create/assemble a scrapbook type recipe book with all the recipes shared by our crafty friends who join the swap.   Here is the schedule so you can eagerly plan ahead:

August          Appetizers

September     Soups or Salad

October         Main Dish

November     Starch or Pasta

December      Desserts

Here's a sample picture of the binder we will compile our recipes in.  The pages measure 7" x 9 1/4". Please leave a 1/2" allowance on the left side for binding then let your creativity go wild by decorating around the recipe. You can use stamped images, dies, punches, ribbon, etc.   Isn't this a FABULOUS idea?  We are looking for 15 people to join this swap from August thru December.   If you're interested, please call Michelle to reserve your spot.   If for some reason you are unable to attend, you can drop off your recipes at the store. 

Our August swap will be on Saturday, 8/20 from 2;30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Deadline to sign up is August 13th.
