Red Hat Society Event
These two cards were created by Tracy and Donna. Island Scrapbooking will have a booth at the 2009 March Madness event this Saturday at the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel- Moku Ola Room. This event is sponsored by the Ula La Chapter of the Red Hat Society in Hilo. As tribute to this group, Tracy and Donna used a Dreamweavers stencil to emboss the hat onto gold cardstock. The leaves and hibiscus were punched and the Aloha and Mahalo sentiments are lazer cuts that can be found only at the store or online (click here). Come and visit our booth at the fair from 11am-2pm!

Hey girls -- great looking cards. I just love the idea of adding hawaiian die cuts to give them a really local look. Keep up the good work. You two give me such inspiration -- gotta make my own cards.
